Q:How close is the Villa to Disney?
A:The Villa is situated in a quiet
rural area of Lindfields but only 5 miles/15 minutes from Disney World.
Q:How far away is Seaworld, Discovery Cove?
A:Seaworld and Discovery Cove
are approximately 20-30 minutes away,
Seaworld and Discovery Cove are next
to each other.
Q:How far away is Universal Studios?
A:Universal Studios is approximately
20-30 minutes away.
Q:How far away is Wet N Wild?
A:Wet N Wild is approximately 20-30 minutes
away
Q:How far away is Busch Gardens?
A: Busch Gardens is approximately 60-90
minutes away ? If you know the way 60 minutes. It took me 90 minutes.
Q:Do you allow PETS / SMOKING?
A:No I'm sorry we do not allow pets or
smoking. Both my daughters suffer from asthma. I do hope you understand.
Smoking is permitted around the Pool Area only as long as you discard the
butts properly.
Q:How Private is the Pool?
A:The garden is fully fenced and secure making
it the ideal place to stay for families with young children. But please
remember always watch your children around the pool.
Q:Should I have pool heating?
A:It really is down to personal choice, but I
would say October-April Yes. What one person thinks is cold, another may
not.
Q:Can I have Pool Heating if I change my mind?
A:Yes, just call our
Management Agents and they will arrange it. You will have to pay the Agents
upon their visit. It is more
cost effective if you want Pool heating to book
in advance.
Q:Can we use the telephone?
A:Free local phone calls can be made and you
can use your credit card for long distance calls. Please check the cost
first
as it can be expensive and we have no control over the charges. You
can purchase phone cards from local stores
and supermarkets.
Q:Will we need to rent a car?
A:Yes, to get the best out of your vacation
we feel you would need to rent a car during your stay. Donıt forget you need
to
be 21 years of age and hold a Driving Licence.
Q:Is the Villa approved for holiday rentals?
A:Yes, it is approved and
licensed by the State of Florida and Osceola County for Short Term Holiday
Rentals.
Minimum
rental age is 21 years of age.
Q:Does the Villa satisfy all safety requirements?
A:Yes, the Villa is
inspected yearly and fully complies with all current safety regulations.
Q:Is the Villa air conditioned?
A:The Villa is fully air conditioned
throughout, and has ceiling fans in most rooms. The air conditioning is set
between
72-74 degrees, this is the recommended temperature. If it is not
comfortable for you our Management Agents will adjust
it for you.
Unfortunately the air-conditioning cannot be adjusted by yourselves as in
the past, we have had guests
turning the controller on and off resulting in
extreme fluctuation in temperatures.
Q:Do I need to bring my own linen and towels?
A:Of course not, Dream
Florida Holidays Villa comes with linen, bath and pool towels. Please do not
use the bathroom
towels around the pool, the chemicals in the pool spoil
them.
Q:Is Dream Florida Holidays a self catering holiday?
A:Yes, we are solely a
Florida Self Catering Villa.
Q:Are there any toiletries at the Villa?
A:We provide a small pack which
consists of small size guest soaps, toilet tissue/rolls, and a couple of
sachets of
dishwasher powder, just to get you started. You may find that the
previous guest has left behind dishwasher powder,
washing powder and washing
up liquid etc, so it is worth checking before you purchase anything.
Q:Are there shops, supermarkets near by?
A:Yes there are local shops 5 minutes away and the larger Wal-Marts 10-15 minutes away.
Q:Where are the Shops and Supermarkets?
A:There are Two Publix supermarkets
within a few minutes drive of the Villa, plus quite a few small convenience
stores.
When you exit "Lindfields" main entrance. If you turn left or right
and after a short distance you will see the Publix sign.
There is a Wal-Mart Superstore which is open 24/7 close by. Turn left out of Lindfields
onto Hway 192W, then take the
27 towards Clermont. You will see the store and
the exit shortly after you join the 27. Around Wal-Marts are other
stores
which include Pizza Hut, Domino's Pizza, Subway, Gift Shops, Hair Salon,
7-11, Gas (petrol) stations
and much more.
Q:Do we have to wash the towels?
A:A final laundry wash is included in the
cost of the rental. We do however, expect guests to be reasonable and not
leave piles of used towels. Most guests just wash them as they use them, as
you would at home.
Q:When is the Villa cleaned?
A:Our Management Agents makes sure the Villa
is professionally cleaned throughout prior to your arrival. The bed
linen
and towels are freshly laundered and ready for your use. Upon your departure
the same procedure is carried
out in preparation for the following guests.
Additional cleans are available during your stay but incur a further charge.
Please let us know is you require further cleaning at booking stage.
Q:When we leave does the maid wash the bedding?
A:Yes, this is included in
the final clean.You can change the bedding during your stay if you wish but
you would have
to wash the bedding that you are replacing so it is ready for
the next guests. Alternatively book an extra maid visit
during your stay.
Q:Villa rental prices?
A:We are very competitive, but please do not get
caught out by some of the cheaper villas. Cheap means cheap. Try
and avoid
travel agents, as more often than not the villa never seems quite as good as
the brochure. Dream Florida Holidays
Villa is a family run business and we
try our best to offer you wonderful accommodation at a very reasonable
price. And
don't forget we are backed up by excellent Management Agents.
Q:What happens if something fails, e.g. Dishwasher?
A:Please contact our
Management Agents their number is displayed by the phone. They will do their
best to solve the
problem. Our Management Agents are available 24/7,
emergencies between the hours of 5.30 pm - 9.00 am.
Q:When do we take out the Trash/Rubbish?
A:There are two collections per
week. It is usually collected early Monday and Thursday morning. You can put
it out
the night before but the wildlife/raccoons, can get to it. Please DO
NOT feed the raccoons, it will only encourage them
to come looking in the
bins for more food, which they then tip over. The trash collectors will not
pick up the contents
of an over turned bin. On a few occasions where guests
have arrived at the Villa to find trash/rubbish all over the front
garden.
So please dispose of as much trash as you can before the end of your stay,
by making full use of the trash
collection days nearest the end of your
vacation date. Thank you.
Q:Do You Require A Booking Deposit?
A:Yes, like all owners, we require a
Booking Deposit/Security Bond to be returned with your signed Booking Form.
The Deposit acts firstly as a Booking Deposit, which is non-refundable and
then once the rental balance is paid it
becomes a security Deposit/ Bond
which is returned to you approximately 3 weeks after you vacate the Villa.
Deposit required $250 (£150).
Q:What is a Security Deposit/Bond?
A:This covers any damage, loss, or
additional cleaning which may be required as a result of your occupancy of
the
villa. Our Management Agents will inspect the Villa after your stay and
upon receipt of a satisfactory report, we will
return your security
Deposit/Bond normally within 3 weeks. Deductions are not made for minor
breakages.
Q:When is the Final Balance due?
A:The total cost, including pool heating
(if requested) is required 6 weeks prior to your arrival at the villa. The
date
is printed on your copy of the Booking Form.
